Groans Brigade x Dadlands: Voltarol Open "Arthritic Boogaloo" 2023
On Saturday the 13th of May, Rollersnakes hosted our second Voltarol Open courtesy of Groans Brigade and Dadlands. After 2022's success, our team worked long and hard to improve or at least live up to the year before. Thanks to all our sponsors we were able to offer an array of prizes which went to the winners of the following competitions:
- Pegnet world championship
- Pint of water quarter
- Deadry Barlow wrong glasses curb crush
- I used to be slimmer and now I use a zimmer flip flop
- The slap ramps bad back flat pack ledge attack
- Heated wheel polariser slalom comp.
- Hairiest ears
- Oldest person
- Longest distance travelled
The event also hosted live performances from the bands Replica Jesus and Kolubara, as well as a BBQ and overall good vibes. A huge thank you to all the people who came to participate and show their support as well as our sponsors for their generous contributions, including Sketti Butter who crafted a limited edition wax exclusively for this event.
