Great shoe in vegan colourway

I really like these shoes, I had been eying them up on the eS website a while ago as options for vegan friendly skate shoes are limited. Unfortunately they seemed to disappear quickly, but luckily found them here a while later at a better price!
As I have found with Soletech shoes sometimes the cupsole models can be a little small and a narrow profile so I ordered a half size up and they fitted fine. They might not be the shoe for you if you have wide feet though as the toe box is fairly narrow,
They are good to go straight out of the box, pretty much no break in time at all. I was concerned that they might not be that comfortable as the sole and insole don’t offer a lot of cushioning but I just had 3 days of walking around London in 30 degree heat and no sore feet!
I haven’t skated in them but they should offer a decent amount of board feel, maybe not one for big stairs/drops unless you put a decent insole in.
They are a lot less puffy than a lot of cupsole shoes but offer more protection than a minimal stripped back shoe. Your foot sits lower than you would imagine and they feel almost like a mid top. With the laces coming up a bit more and the narrow profile they feel really snug and don’t slip around.
The synthetic and mesh uppers look like they will last a while, although you might go through the laces and the only complaint is lack of spare laces and sticker that always used to come in the box
So another great shoe from eS and at this price I ordered another pair!
