Volcom CP2 Gore-Tex Snow Gloves Electric Blue

So pleased to find these gloves, it seems 99% of mens ski gloves are black or shades of grey so it was good to find a pair in a more interesting colour. The fact they were also goretex and thinsulate lined AND on sale made up my mind.

Having now used them on an indoor snowslope I found they were comfortable and warm, flexible and practical. The only thing I had difficulty with was doing up my helmet buckle - there wasn't enough tactile sensation through the tips to manage this. Obviously I'm an idiot for not doing it before I put my gloves on though! The short cuffs worked fine with the inner snowcuff of my jacket sleeves and velcro wrist straps helped keep them in place. There is no wrist loop included but you could conceivably add this if you wanted as there are a pair of holes in the wrist of each glove that would accommodate this.

In summary, perfectly capable and comfortable pair of gloves, nicely styled and the standout feature for me was that I could get them in bright blue to match other parts of my outfit.
